John was a great man. He was a loyal and loving friend to my dad and my family. He will be missed by many. He lived by a simple code, work hard, do the right thing and give more than you take from this life. John was willing to try things and take chances it what made his life so full. He was an educated man who took pleasure in the complicated nature of life but also took great pleasure in working with his hands and building things. This is reflected in all the lives he impacted. His love and loyalty to my father lasted a lifetime and he often checked in on me expressing his love to me, my family, and my father even decades after my fathers death.
