We were expecting to have our home internet fixed prior to hosting Ziare ZOOM; however, they were no shows. I had to scramble by getting someone that had access. My mic did not work where I was hosting from so I joined with my phone while hosting from labtop with camera. Mom said that she could not see the gear I was explaining while I spoke. So here it is, the Rumble In The Jungle shirt I am wearing was dads. He gifted it to me for my 50th birthday knowing that I cherished the memories of dad taking me to the training camps and having Archie Moore BBQ with us and getting to spare with Jerry West and Stan Ward.
I also showed the shirts that I wore in Congo. Lastly, I showed a vase that I dug up with a knife that dad gave to me when he returned from a village. It was a double edged warriors knife and I cherish the faith he put in me by gifting it and allowing me to play in the jungle with it. About a week later I was in the jungle with Scott and Danny Tripps and their dog, Lurch, became tangled in vines. It felt good to use the battle knife to free Lurch. So many wonderful memories being raised by dad.
